I caught a couple of shows on this day.

My first included an 11 jam and a visit to the insane dentist's office...

The second one was the first with Phil using a 6 string bass, not yet the Modulus. IMO it totally changed their sound, that night they started to morph into the big stadium rock band they would become for last years, it took a few more years before they started filling up RFK, Giant's Stadium, Three Rivers etc, but the switch to that bass triggered the new sound. Lots of bombastic displays and a definite uptick in tempos. You go Phil!!!! '83 was the year of the Phil Bomb!
